Firefighter The City of Ann Arbor is now accepting applications for entry-level Firefighter. Firefighter duties include: fire suppression, emergency medical response, hazardous material response, confined space operations, public educations and other related activities. Starting salary is $38,725.15, with excellent fringe benefits. You must be at least 18 years of age, High School graduate or GED equivalent. Firefighter 1 & 2 and EMT certification desired, but not necessary. Must successfully complete physical agility testing, panel interview, extensive background investigation, psychological exam and physical exam with drug screen.
