Firefighter I & II/ EMT duties will include: fire prevention; building inspections; hot work control; fire protection systems configuration control; responding to emergencies involving aircraft, company buildings, equipment and vehicles; medical; haz-mat; and fire. This position requires a current Missouri State Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) certification or the ability to obtain reciprocity, with current status in continued education, 3 years full-time career, or 4 years volunteer firefighter experience (current within the last two years). Prefer Airport Rescue Firefighting experience. This is an hourly (8 - 24 hour shifts) position represented by the International Association of Firefighters, Local I66, and requires union membership. All candidates will be required to participate in the following: Written test - IFSTA FF generated test, Physical Agility Test, and interview.
