Volunteer service opportunities available
for foresters and rural firefighters
Firefighters, carpenters, and teachers are being sought for a service program in the Cook Islands. By joining a Global Volunteers program, you can experience the soul-satisfying pleasure of serving others, and still enjoy the legendary sunsets, shimmering beaches, and tropical breezes of this beautiful South Pacific locale.
Global Volunteers is a 15-year-old private non-profit, non-sectarian organization that promotes intercultural understanding by offering short-term volunteer opportunities in rural communities around the world.
The service program fee of $2,195 (for three weeks) covers your food, lodging, ground transportation, and project expenses. Your airfare is extra. All costs, including airfare, are tax-deductible for U.S. taxpayers. A two-week option is also available.
