EMSIA agencies participating in this recruitment are: Aptos/La Selva Fire District, Scotts Valley Fire District, and City of Santa Cruz Fire Dept, and may include UC Santa Cruz Fire Dept. Excellent starting salaries plus paramedic pay differential which varies by district. Requires a current paramedic license & 6 months experience as a paramedic at time of appointment (applicants with no experience may apply and test), CPR and ACLS certs and a DMV printout indicating a safe driving record. All EMSIA agencies provide excellent benefits. Orientation & practice physical agility: 6/26, 7/1 and 7/15.
