MIN. QUALIFICATIONS: High school or GED. College level course work in fire science, fire administration or a related field is desirable. Must have one year experience as a Paramedic; must have one year experience as a current paid professional Firefighter. Possession of a temporary Emergency Medical Technician-Paramedic certificate on the date of appointment. Possession of an Emergency Medical Technician-Paramedic certificate within six months of the date of appointment and maintenance thereafter.
