The City of Long Beach is accepting applications for lateral firefighters. Minimum requirements at the time of filing are:

? -- Currently employed in California as a full-time, paid firefighter with a minimum of one year (2,912 hours) of experience (including probationary period)
? -- High school graduation or GED
? -- Must be 18 years of age or older
? -- A valid motor vehicle operator's license
? -- EMT1 certification
