In this exciting position the ideal candidate will direct and manage the daily operations and administrative activities of the Logan Airport Rescue and Fire Fighting unit to ensure standards are maintained in a professional and efficient manner. Candidate will direct response to various safety and emergency situations at Logan International Airport and in surrounding communities. Supervisory responsibility for Deputy Chief, crew of 80-90 officers and firefighters and administrative secretary.

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience. Master's preferred.

Minimum of 10 years experience in airport rescue and fire fighting; minimum of 5 years in supervisory or management position in the fire service.

Salary commensurate with experience.
