Pennsylvania Women Firefighters' Training Weekend

The newly created Fire Service Women of Pennsylvania will host their fourth annual Pennsylvania Women Firefighters' Training Weekend April 21-23 at the state fire academy in Lewistown. The program offers 16-hour training courses such as Street Smart Firefighters, Command Response to Mayday, and structural fire attack, plus four-hour mini-courses on ropes and knots, physical fitness, male-female communications, and job discrimination / sexual harassment.

The training and facilities are being provided at no charge, so the registration fee for the weekend is only $20. The deadline is April 9. More information is available on the FSWP website. Note that you must be a Yahoo member in order to view this website.
