Responds to fire alarms and emergency calls; performs rescue work; administers first aid; provides emergency care; performs related duties as assigned.

Requirements: valid Firefighter (FF) I Certification from California State Fire Marshal's Office; valid State of California Emergency Medical Technician - Paramedic (PM) License. Must be currently employed as full-time FF/PM w/ regional/municipal/local government fire department for min of two (2) yrs, one of which must have been as full-time Emergency Medical Technician - PM. Personnel Dept will determine which applicants meet above requirements for further consideration in selection process. As condition of employment, must possess & retain valid Class C CDL & valid State of California PM License.
