Bay Area authors Mary Carouba and Susan Hagen will tell the stories of the heroines of September 11th. They will present a powerful collection of first-person stories of female firefighters, police officers, paramedics, EMTs, and other women who responded to the World Trade Center tragedy. In honor of local women in emergency services, meet the authors and hear the inspiring story of their book.

We will offer a dessert and coffee reception, and then the program, followed by book sale and signing
and a silent auction.
