Firefighter/Paramedic
COMPETITIVE SELECTION PROCESS
Northbrook and Winnetka, Illinois
The Village of Northbrook and the Village of Winnetka are conducting a joint written examination on May 3, 2003 at 9:00 a.m. at the Northeastern Illinois Public Safety Training Academy, 2300 Patriot Blvd., Glenview, Illinois, to establish an eligibility list for the position of Firefighter/Paramedic. Complete applications with all required documents will only be accepted at a mandatory orientation at Glenbrook North High School on April 12, 2003 at 10:00 a.m. Check-in will begin at 8:30 a.m.
Basic requirements:
High School Education or equivalent;
Valid driver's license;
21 years old at application date 4/12/03; and
Must pass all selection and training requirements.

Applicants must meet one of the following prerequisites: |

| 1) Associates Degree or 60 hours of equivalent credits or;
|
| 2) State of Illinois License as Paramedic (EMT-P) or;
|
| 3) Have both a State of Illinois Emergency Medical Technician (EMT-B) and a State of Illinois Firefighter II certification. |
