LOL thats good. We all love what we do and we all have different opinions by what we have experienced. We all can learn from each other, some we agree with some we dont. I just listen to it all and apply what I can use.

well...it finally happened!! last night was my first night sleeping at the other station! had a couple comments, but told them that the a.c. and chief made the decision and if they had a problem with it to take it up with them. as far as i'm concerned...it went good. guess i'll hear through the grape-vine if the guys have a bitch about it! woohoo!! we crossed another hurdle and made history!!!

I'm glad it worked out for you. If your a.c. and chief are welll-liked, and are fully supporting you, it will go a long way toward shutting up the complainers.

well, first we had tea~n~crumpets...... then we sat in a circle and sang kumbaya.......then we all snuggled into our seperate beds, but in the same room...and fell asleep to the lull of the ocean waves gently hitting the shore

PS ...it is better to keep your mouth shut and appear stupid instead of opening it and remove any doubt

Good advice, its also a great idea to get informed before you remove all doubt... And possibly consider how your behavior affects the rest of us. I am so glad you present such a positive image for all female firefighters.
